Why Is Our Self-Defense System Right For You?
At Split Second Response, our goal is to help you stay safe no matter what life puts in your path. Our Self-Defense classes can equip men and women from all across Oakley with effective and efficient skills to defend against any threat.
We teach practical self defense skills to help you:
- Disarm and control an attacker
- Use everyday objects in self-defense
- Stay safe when faced with a weapon
- Prepare for single or multiple attackers
Basic firearms training is provided to adult students, parents, and members of the public every Wednesday from 7:30 pm until 8:10 pm to educate them about gun safety. The cost of this training is only $10 per session and this is a drop-in program. There are no membership fees or dues.
During this course, participants will learn the fundamental safety rules, legal transportation, safe gun storage, basic shooting skills, advanced shooting skills, and tactical shooting skills for home defense. This is hands-on training using simulated firearms. Learning will be done using the SIRT Pistol or Rifle. During this training, we also provide basic first aid training (dealing with life-threatening bleeding).
